The Daane Award

Maggi Daane (1946-2023) was a dynamic community leader in the Santa Maria Valley who left an impact wherever she served. To honor her 30 years of community service, and to preserve her example of ethical leadership, the Allan Hancock College Foundation is establishing the Daane Award for Integrity in Leadership to be presented to an outstanding student leader each year. The student awardee will demonstrate high ethical standards in their leadership and be committed to a life of community service.
