Penelope Lockridge Hartnell Scholarship

This endowed scholarship honors the life and philanthropy of the late Penelope Lockridge Hartnell. Though a long time resident of New York, Ms. Hartnell loved her ranch on Orcutt Hill and was a friend of many Santa Maria residents. Through her love of libraries and education, this scholarship is presented to a Hancock student pursuing a career in education or library science.
