Gary Thompson Band Scholarship

This scholarship is in honor and memory of longtime area music educator and Allan Hancock College band director, Gary Thompson. As a part of his 60 year career, Gary conducted the college band from 1976 until his retirement in 1990. This scholarship is presented to an outstanding band student transferring to a university and majoring in Music Education.
